New York City Bar Association Presents "Pathways to the Bench and Beyond," where a panel of minority judges will discuss their journeys to the bench. Speakers include Kings County Administrative Judge Sylvia Hinds-Radix, and Brooklyn federal court Judges Dora Irizarry and Kiyo Matsumoto. Cost: free and open to public. Register at nycbar.org. Fri. March 9, The Celts Saint Patrick's Day Parade, 12:10pm
The 18th Annual Celts Parade begins after a 12:10pm Mass and will march through Brooklyn Heights, down Montague Street, and conclude at Kings County Supreme Court Civil Term at 360 Adams St. A luncheon will follow in courtroom 319. Location: Mass at St. Charles Borromeo, 21 Sidney Place, Brooklyn Heights.

Fri. March 9, City Tech Law & Paralegal Club Discussion – Family Court & Deliquency, 2-4pm
"Raising the Age of Delinquency in Family Court to 18" panel discussion at New York City College of Technology's Law & Paralegal Club to discuss and inform the public about new proposals to prosecute 16- and 17-year-olds in Family Court rather than Criminal Court. Panelist include city attorneys, Legal Aid lawyers, professors, judges and politicians. Open to public. Cost: free.
