Lutheran Medical Center, on 55th Street in Brooklyn, has launched a campaign featuring its staff, which will roll out over the next few months. The campaign will feature a number of different staff members who have also experienced Lutheran as patients, and so can attest to the quality of patient care.

Each ad shows a staff member accompanied by a quote about their experience as a patient.

One of the featured staff members is  Claudia Caine, executive vice president and hospital director/COO, who is pictured with this quote: “I was told I have a microfracture of a vertebrae. I was in a great deal of pain and very stressed out, because this injury kept me away from work. Lutheran Rehabilitation got me back to doing what I need to do… run my hospital.”

Another star of the campaign is Dave Tomkins, senior vice president of material services. Tomkins, pictured below, explains the rehab network’s innovative care and results: “I’m a runner … I’ve had two injuries …  Lutheran got me better quickly. Within a couple of months I was running again.”

The release from Lutheran says, “We all strive every day to ensure the best patient care, but never want to become one ourselves. After his injuries, Dave experienced Lutheran from a very different viewpoint than he does when he comes to work.”

Lutheran Rehabilitation works to get injured patients back on the go by offering comprehensive rehabilitation therapies, including three distinct levels of care (inpatient, outpatient and long-term rehabilitation), longer, more frequent therapy sessions, and licensed therapists to provide individual care to each patient at five facilities.
