Gowanus Rapper Indicted for Murder

Rapper Ra Diggs, whose real name is Ronald Herron, was indicted Tuesday in Brooklyn federal court for three murders. The 29-year-old Bloods gang member allegedly led a violent crew in the Gowanus Houses housing projects in Boerum Hill. In the fall of last year, Herron appeared in court, claiming he is not a U.S. citizen but rather a member of the Bloods nation, and therefore not subject to federal jurisdiction and laws.
