Ratner’s Gilmartin a Keynote Speaker at Women’s Forum

MANHATTAN — Forest City Ratner’s MaryAnne Gilmartin will be one of two keynote speakers at the Real Estate Weekly Women’s Forum, set for Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the McGraw-Hill Conference Center in Manhattan. Well-known in Brooklyn, Gilmartin oversees the Barclays Center and the 8 million-square-foot Atlantic Yards redevelopment project.

The other keynote speaker is Leslie Himmel, a managing partner at Himmel + Meringoff Properties and known as the highest ranking female landlord in the city’s commercial marketplace.

The annual event, which generally attracts about 300 attendees, features panel discussions, the announcement of the “Most Influential Woman in Real Estate” from among five top nominees, and an expo of exhibitors.

The conference will address issues of leadership and career development, including:

The cost of registration, at $199 by Friday, Feb. 10, or $249 after that (a portion of every registration goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation), includes pre-conference breakfast and  lunch, and a post-event reception.

The conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The McGraw-Hill Conference Center is at 1221 Avenue of the Americas.
