Susan Sarandon Buys Clinton Hill Property

Actress Pays $950,000 for

2-Bedroom, 2-Bath Condominium

CLINTON HILL — Susan Sarandon has purchased a two-bedroom, two-bath loft condominium at 334 Grand Ave. in Clinton Hill, according to the New York Observer.

Calling the outside of the building “well, hideous,” the Observer commented that it’s unclear exactly what the actress intends to do with the 2,500-square-foot property, for which she paid $900,000.

Though it asks why this place and why Brooklyn, the Observer notes that the unit has a 2,000-square-foot roof deck and sits above the Corridor Gallery on the first floor and the building does have a parking garage.

This is the third property Sarandon has acquired in the past seven months, the Observer reported. She acquired a penthouse in Greenwich Village for $1.75 million last June, and she paid her ex-husband, Tim Robbins, $3.2 million to keep their Chelsea duplex the same month, according to the Observer.
