PACC Offers Small Business Workshop on Access to Credit

CLINTON HILL — The Pratt Area Community Council (PACC) in partnership with Seedco Financial will present a workshop titled “Access to Capital for Small Businesses” on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at PACC offices in Clinton Hill.

This interactive workshop will cover the following topics:

• How to obtain funds for your small business needs.
• The importance of credit worthiness.
• What lenders are looking for and the documents that are requested.
• Different types of lenders and the products they offer.

The workshop will also offer free one-on-one followup counseling for attendees and will help them determine how to apply the principles learned in the workshop.

Other counseling will be offered as well as assistance with financing, leasing space, legal issues and referrals to government programs and other resources.

The event, sponsored by Capital One, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at 896-900 Fulton St., between Waverly and Washington avenues.
