Congressman Turner’s Office Hits the Road
SHEEPSHEAD BAY — U.S. Rep. Bob Turner (R-Brooklyn-Queens) isn’t waiting for constituents to come to his district office for help. He has decided to bring his office to them.
Turner announced that he would hold a series of satellite office events at locations throughout the 9th Congressional District starting on Jan. 20.
Turner’s senior caseworker will be at the Sheepshead Bay library branch, at 2636 E. 14th St. near Avenue Z, on Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Jan. 25, the caseworker will be at the Marine Park/Gerritsen Beach library branch at 2808 Gerritsen Ave. near Barlett Place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. “I want to ensure that my staff and I are able to provide the highest-level constituent services to constituents of the 9th District. These satellite congressional field office events will provide a more convenient location for many residents to receive needed federal assistance,” Turner said.
