Classics reimagined in Sunset Park

The spirit of ancient Greece will be rekindled in modernBrooklyn, with two unique outdoor theatre productions on the hillin Sunset Park next weekend: Oedipus Rex on Saturday, September17, and Seven Against Thebes on Sunday, September 18.

The afternoon shows are free and open to the public and guests areencouraged to bring blanket and food for a picnic. The performanceslast around 90 minutes and begin at 2 p.m. They are the latestadditions to the fourth annual Theatre on the Hill seriespresented by the Friends of Sunset Park and Young Dancersin Repertory.

Oedipus Rex and Seven Against Thebes will be performed by theFaux-Real Theatre Company
