Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc. (KDA) reports the sale of two industrial buildings in Brownsville.
The two properties, at 252 Newport St. and 507 Osborn St., sold for $6.3 million, according to Kalmon and Neil Dolgin, co-presidents.
Neil Dolgin, Grant Dolgin and Neil Fertile of KDA represented both the seller, Imperial Paper Box Corp., and the buyer, Tuck It Away Newport I/Tuck It Away 2/Tuck It Away Osborn LLC.
The two properties, totalling 138,000 square feet, were occupied by one tenant for more than 50 years. They are described as follows:
• 252 Newport St. is a 70,000-square-foot, four-story warehouse with a full basement. The warehouse offers two loading docks and high ceilings.

• 507 Osborn St. is a 58,000-square-foot, one-story building, also with a full basement.

“Both are ideal for self-storage facilities, as the area has recently seen a boost in residential development,” said Dolgin.
