An acoustic version of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” by two Brooklyn Heights teenagers has become an instant YouTube sensation, drawing nearly 150,000 views.

Hope and Maggie — broadcasting on YouTube as Wesinghappysongs — sing while playing the ukelele and guitar.

Since their video was uploaded on Dec. 8, the girls have been featured on Buzzfeed (where Doree Shafrir wrote, “Just when I thought I never wanted to watch another interpretation of Psy again, along came the adorable Hope and Maggie. Also, watch for the black cat cameo!”) Huffington Post and Babble, the Brooklyn Heights Blog reports.

Other music on Wesinghappysongs’ YouTube channel includes a mournful rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” taped after the tragedy at Sandy Hook, and a cover of Passenger’s “Let Her Go.”
