St. Bernadette School celebrated Catholic Schools Week with something for the heart as well as the tastebuds. Students were treated to ice cream sundaes in the school cafeteria on Tuesday. Little Isabella Pacelli (at left) enjoyed hers! The ice cream was served by a group of eighth graders, who cheerfully asked each student whether they wanted chocolate or multi-colored sprinkles. That same day, the school hosted a “Cutest Pet” contest in which students brought in pictures of their dogs, cats, birds and other pets. The pictures were put on display and the students voted on which one was the best looking. Eighth-grader Amelia Besio (below) entered three cats in the contest: Cleo, Lisa, and Zhorik. St. Bernadette School had many other fun-filled activities planned for the week.Eagle photo by Paula Katinas
