RTR Financial Services Donates $25,000 to Lutheran Medical Center
SUNSET PARK — On March 29, Robert T. Reilly, president and CEO of RTR Financial Services, a health care industry-leading provider of accounts receivable management services, presented Wendy Z. Goldstein, president and CEO of Lutheran HealthCare, with a donation of $25,000 in support at the health system’s 129th Anniversary Dinner Dance Gala.
During his check presentation, Reilly acknowledged the precarious environment of health care in Brooklyn and the importance of individual contributions to nonprofit medical facilities at this time. “We feel it’s critical to give back to our community and the people who serve it each day,” said Reilly. “While medical centers face a host of progressively difficult financial challenges, Lutheran has been unrelenting in its efforts to provide high-quality care in a cost-efficient manner. Lutheran is a vital and vibrant part of our community.”
This year’s annual dinner dance is a Prohibition-era-themed black-tie affair and will honor former Lutheran employee Terence Winter, creator and executive producer of HBO’s award-winning series “Boardwalk Empire”. The event will also honor Jayanth V. Rao, M.D., Lutheran Medical Center’s chair of radiology. Proceeds will be used to fund a new neuro-catheterization laboratory.
