An unusual home has hit the market. Unusual for Brooklyn, that is.

It’s an oceanfront dwelling with a heated pool and “unparalleled views” of the New Jersey coast and the Far Rockaway, Brighton and Coney Island beaches.

The 6,000-square-foot single-family home, at 296 West End Ave. in Manhattan Beach, comes with an asking price of $9.75 million, according to   Ariel Tirosh, vice president at Prudential Douglas Elliman, who has the listing.

“There really is nothing like it on the market, there is nothing comparable for sale anywhere in New York City” he said.
“How often do you come across an oceanfront property in a city like New York? It looks and feels like Florida here, and yet it’s only 15 miles from midtown Manhattan. You get the best of both worlds.”

It has four bedrooms, four baths and a fully-finished basement, complete with a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The aforementioned unparalleled views are from the open air space in the living room and kitchen on the lower floor; from the terrace of the master bedroom suite on the second floor; and from a rooftop bar area perfect for entertaining guests, said Tirosh.

Outdoors, it has 170 feet of private oceanfront, the aforementioned heated infinity pool, a hot tub, a large koi pond and a fully landscaped garden.

The home also has a two-car garage and a driveway with heated tiles, eliminating the need to shovel snow.

And why are the current owners selling?

“The current owners are looking to sell because they want to move to Miami where they already have a home,” said Tirosh.
