Teq, an educational technology and professional development company, recently placed its newest classroom innovation, JumpStart NAO, in the John Ericsson Middle School, a magnet school for environmental engineering in Brooklyn. The school’s purchase of Teq’s JumpStart NAO program, which includes two robots and professional development for teachers, makes it the first school in the city to acquire NAO. Fully programmable, NAO is the most widely used humanoid robot for academic purposes worldwide.
