GOWANUS — Brooklyn Bridge Realty has an exclusive listing for a commercial property across from the future site of Whole Foods in Gowanus that has development potential — pending city approvals, of course.

The property, at Third Street and the Gowanus Canal, has an asking price of $5.8 million. Listed with Brooklyn Bridge Realty agent Susan DeMarco-ElMakawy, it is described as having an oversized warehouse-plus renovated showroom and offices in 19,000 square feet, and an adjoining vacant lot/yard of 15,000 square feet.

The warehouse, with its 18-foot-high ceilings and loading dock, “has endless possibilities,” according to DeMarco-ElMakawy’s description.

In addition, the yard has a curb-cut that is “ready to handle any 18-wheeler truck” and “the two lots can be occupied immediately,” she said.

Other amenities include outdoor parking in front of the showroom, which comes with two private offices and a conference room.
