State Sen. Marty Golden (R-Bay Ridge-southern Brooklyn) is hosting two town hall meetings for constituents in both ends of his district. Golden said his goal is to give residents a chance to discuss quality of life issues with representatives of city agencies.

The first town hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. at the Salt Marsh Nature Center, at East 33rd Street and Avenue U in Marine Park.

The next day, Wednesday, Oct. 24, Golden will host another town hall at 7 p.m. at Bay Ridge Preparatory School located at 8101 Ridge Boulevard in Bay Ridge.

Representatives of the New York City Department of Finance, the Department of Buildings, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the New York City Police Department, the New York City Fire Department and the Department of Sanitation are expected to attend.

“I look forward to leading these conversations with the community so to provide an update on a variety of neighborhood issues and important legislation which I have recently been working on. I am glad to join with representatives of key city agencies to work with residents to resolve local problems in an effort to improve our quality of life,” Golden said.
