East River bridges reopen

New York City's East River bridges have reopened.

The Department of Transportation says the Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg and the Ed Koch-Queensboro bridges reopened to all vehicles on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, MTA bridges reopened to emergency personnel only.

The MTA bridges include: Robert F. Kennedy Bridge; Throgs Neck Bridge; Bronx-Whitestone Bridge; Verrazano-Narrows Bridge; Henry Hudson Bridge; Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge; Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge.

A decision to reopen the MTA bridges to the public was being assessed.
