The NYPD is making public a video showing a man climbing a fence in the aftermath of the infamous Green-Wood Cemetery mass vandalism incident on Aug. 24-25.

The video shows a man climbing over the still-locked front gates to the cemetery in the early morning hours of Aug. 25, after about 50 tombstones, statues and monuments had been damaged.

The damage was estimated to be about $100,000, and the case was classified as a hate crime since most of the items damaged contained Christian religious symbols, such as crosses and angels.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or log onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
