Chase Offers Free Event for Struggling Bklyn Homeowners

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Struggling Brooklyn homeowners whose mortgages are with Chase are invited to participate in the bank’s free Homeowners Advisory Event Thursday through Sunday, April 12-15, in Downtown Brooklyn.

No appointments are necessary; Chase officials say they expect to sit down with most homeowners within 30 minutes of their arrival.

Over the four days, specialists will assist homeowners with the following:

• Initial counseling to apply for a mortgage modification

Subscribe to our newsletters

• Counseling for those who are current but are struggling

• Short-sale assistance for those who can’t afford their home or don’t want to stay in it

• Document signing and drop off for modifications

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day in the Grand Ballroom of the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams St.
