CBS postpones Hynes’ reality show
The CBS television network has decided to postpone the airing of a reality show showcasing the work done by the District Attorney and prosecutors in the Brooklyn DA’s Office.
The show, titled “Brooklyn DA,” was scheduled to premier on May 21. The new proposed air date is May 28.
In this six-part series, with each episode an hour in length, “Brooklyn D.A.” will look at the Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes as he prepares for a contested re-election race as well as at the work of his office in prosecuting some high-profile cases. The show has received severe criticism from Hynes’ primary opponents.
