Good morning. Today is the 150th day of the year. On May 29, 1894, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported that frost and ice storms were plaguing the northern part of the state, destroying spring crops and burying plants in ice almost an inch thick.

Well-known people who were born today include singer-guitarist Meillsa Etheridge, former auto racer Al Unser Sr., actress Lisa Whelchel and former baseball player Eric Davis.
