This evening at 8 p.m., Teddy’s Bar and Grill at 96 Berry St., Williamsburg, will present a 100th anniversary celebration for singer-songwriter Woody Guthrie. The marathon concert features performances by local Williamsburg bands and artists. … Tomorrow from noon–5 p.m., 50 mounds of sand on the Coney Island beach from West 10th to West 12th streets will be transformed into artistic creations by amateur artists competing in the Astella Development/New York Aquarium 22nd Annual Sand Sculpting Contest. There are five categories: individual adult, individual child, adult group, child group and mixed group. Throughout the event, there will also be entertainment on the boardwalk.
