Brooklyn resident appointed to judicial conduct commission
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has appointed Jodie Corngold of Brooklyn to the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct for a term ending March 31, 2015.
The appointment, which was made on March 6, 2013, fills the lone vacancy on the 11-member commission.
Corngold received her Bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College. She is the director of communications for the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn.
Ms. Corngold is a career communications and public relations professional, having served as director of public relations for Allied Urological Services and director of communications for the National Hemophilia Foundation.
She is one of two gubernatorial appointees to the commission that must, by law, be non-lawyers. Four commission members are judges and five are lawyers.
