Brooklyn Author Martin Amis Recognized, Among Others

The Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) on Tuesday hosted its 17th Annual Gala, honoring Brooklyn-based novelist and essayist Martin Amis; Chairman of the Brooklyn Public Library Board of Trustees Anthony Crowell; and The Charles H. Revson Foundation. The event began at the Wythe Hotel and moved over to the Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg, where dinner was provided by Blue Ribbon and live music by Rebirth Brass Band.
