Manhunt: Bed-Stuy bodega stabbing leaves two critically injured

Cops are seeking four individuals allegedly involved in attack

A stabbing inside a Bed-Stuy bodega early Sunday morning left two men in critical condition as police search for four people they say were involved in the incident.

The two victims, a 33-year-old man and 28-year-old man, were stabbed multiple times at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday following an argument inside the Blessed Mini Market Deli and Grocery at 1443 Fulton St., according to police. They were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they were listed in critical but stable condition.

News 12 reports that the argument began “over who should order their sandwich first.”

Police arrested and charged two people they believe were involved in the attack and are turning to the public to find four more individuals. Police told News 12 the initial arrests were made as officers searched the neighborhood near Atlantic and Brooklyn avenues and found two of the suspects with blood on their clothing.

The scuffle was captured on the bodega’s security cameras, from which police are circulating photos and video in an effort to track down the suspects:

  • A black man, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10”, 170 pounds, with brown eyes, short black hair, a mustache and a goatee. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black hooded Champion sweatshirt and black-and-white sneakers.
  • A black woman, 25 to 30 years old, with a small build and long dark hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black three-quarter winter jacket, black leggings with a white stripe and brown Ugg boots.
  • A black man, 25 to 30 years old, with a medium build, a short dark Caesar haircut and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with a white Adidas logo on the front, blue jeans and black-and-white sneakers.
  • A black man, 25 to 30 years old, with a medium build and a full beard. He was last seen wearing an olive-green long-sleeve shirt with a multi-colored letter “B” on the front, an olive green knit cap, a camouflage hooded jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.
