OUTBrooklyn

No.

And when I came out, less than a year ago, I felt more alone that I ever had. Sure, my sister was {read more...}

East Coast Fans Revel in New Tour, Album, and Down-Home Boys

By Gina Osnovich

Before I found Blue October, it had been a long time since I adored a band, or really music in general. My days of quoting lyrics, of looking for how each song related to me or how they sang to just me, were behind me. But in 2007, my then-friend, now-partner Robyn, let me hear just one song by the band we have now come to decide {read more...}

Brooklyn Represented at Javitz GLBT Expo
by Gina Osnovich (biz@brooklyneagle.net), published online 03-25-2009

The 16th Annual Original GLBT Expo, held last weekend at the Jacob Javitz Center, was, once again, a hugely successful example of disposable income the gay community spends on travel, leisure and entertainment. Atlantic City, Key West, Thailand, Japan, Mohegan Sun and countless other travel exhibitors lured passerby with warm weather vacations, gay-only cruises and excursions, and family-friendly destinations.
